No single foods will make you fat very quickly.
Most gains in the weight and fat mass are made through a caloric surplus. It’s an equation of energy, not a reaction to single foods. Noticeable, longer-term gains in weight and fat mass are made through habits, sustained over time.
Processed foods high in fats and carbohydrates often lead to weight gain because we’re conditioned to eat more of them, but it’s not about if X food is in your diet, because foods don’t control your weight.
Your diet as a whole does. Majority if you think that you know very well about the food that makes you fat. But there are a variety of foods that are hidden poisons for your body.
DEEP FRIED SNACKS :
Snacks such as Pakora, samosa, french fries, kachori are deep fried. So, the major nutrient your body gets is fat which may be saturated or unsaturated.
Also, if you eat it roadside, then they will use the same oil again and again for frying pakoras or samosas so it becomes even unhealthier since oil loses its entire nutrient.
SUGARY FOODS :
Ice cream, sweets, pastries, muffins, cakes and cookies are loaded with sugar. Sugar is nothing but empty calories. Sugar affects insulin resistance and blood sugar levels in the blood, in turn, spiking hunger, causing you to crave more sugary/carbohydrate foods.
The more calories you will consume more fat you will accumulate. Next time you gallop a toffee, cookie or a lollipop please think once or twice since we ignore their ingredients too often.
REFINED FOOD :
Refined foods such as white bread, pasta, noodles are among the foods that will easily make you fat. These foods have little fiber to slow digestion, so they convert to glucose almost immediately and spike your blood sugar, which raises your insulin levels.
Insulin allows for the quick delivery of glucose to your fat cells.
PACKED FOOD :
Processed foods such as noodles, pasta, sausages, ketchup are either loaded with fat or sugar. Most of the packaged food look very appealing and sometimes healthy due to packaging but their ingredients are not what we actually require.
Some people also think that the MAGGI we eat at home doesn’t harm our bodies.
The day we will actually study the ingredients of packaged food and the temperature they are made, you will certainly choose it carefully.
CONCLUSION :
Next time you grab on your favorite food, question yourself about what you are actually consuming. Remind yourself what is the difference between a portion of healthy food and an unhealthy one.
