Yet again, a cat fight between Flipkart and Amazon have begun. The promotional activities are at peak online and offline both. Whereas Amazon have already started its sale period from 11th May which would continue till 14th May, Flipkart would start it on 14th May till 18th of May 2017. Both the eCommerce firms have discounts and cashback offers across categories from smartphones to home appliances to kitchen products and fashion among others.

Amazon great Indian Sale is giving additional benefits to users doing cashless transactions. Cashback of 10% is provided for web users using Citibank credit card and 15% cashback on the same card if shopped through App. Additionally users shopping above 500 would get a 1000 INR voucher from Yatra that can be redeemed in booking domestic hotels.
Coming to Flipkart’s Sale, since it has completed 10 years in India the sale is termed as “The Big 10 Sale”. So far it is its biggest Sale after “Big Billion Days” and through this sale they are thanking their customers for the overwhelming response for the past 10 years.

In the ‘The Big 10 Sale‘, Flipkart has announced offers like chance to win international trips, gift vouchers, free shopping, 90% off on deals, cashback on PhonePe, among others. Coming to promoting cashless transactions, HDFC banks credit card and debit card users would get additional 10% discount on all of the products during the sale.
A very ambiguous question indeed… Who has the edge — Flipkart or Amazon ???
The winner is still unknown. There are times when Amazon has an edge over Flipkart and there is other time when Flipkart rules over Amazon.
