Not going to give you all those longitudes or latitudes to bore you out, because this blog is all about traveling to a beautiful place. Places that will help you calm down your nerves. We are going to explore the land from Arunachal Pradesh named Ziro!!! To be honest Ziro gives you the vibe of extra-ordinary heritage sites and is renowned for it. There are around twelve destinations to cover while you are at this magnificent valley. The apt time to visit this place starts in June as the climatic condition is quite welcoming from this time.

How to plan your trip?

Before starting the destinations we are giving you a brief upon how to plan your trip in the most efficient way?!

You start your trip from Gauhati. Then take a road trip to Balipara where we can provide you a stay at Wild Masheer (one of the best stays you can have). From there you can travel to Ziro via Itanagar. Have a long stay at Ziro with a travel plan to all the heritage as well as natural sites to view. After your stay in Ziro is fulfilled, you can take a road trip to Daporijo and reach Along-Anini and Pasighat. Directly from Pasighat you can take a ferry ride to Dibrugarh and spend an overnight at Mancotta. Then by a flight from Dibrugarh, you are back to your own home.

How sanctuaries are defined? You do know how!! This sanctuary though fulfills every definition to the fullest. A place where you can experience a variety of flora and fauna! Almost lots of breeds and species of trees in the sanctuary are found.  This sanctuary gains a different name as Bio-Diversity Zone.

Kile Pakho is a ridge that is found around 7kms away from Ziro. If you are a nature lover then, this place is the right one to be. There is major sightseeing on the top of the ridge and have a breath-taking view of the Ziro Plateau along with which on the other side you will see the Himalayan snow-capped mountains too.

Meghna Cave Temple :

Archeologically speaking this temple is 5000 years old and not to miss out while you are on the adventurous trail at Ziro. This temple gives a perfect view of your eyes and an environment to calm down your nerves. The rivers, dense forest and beautiful nature are what makes this temple so special.

If you are visiting in the month of September, then Ziro Music Festival is the thing for you. This music festival attracts tourists from all over the world. Music lovers come from all over the world to be a part of it.

Ziro puto :

Also known as Army Puto this place has a history. Here India’s first independent center was established. Ziro Puto got its name as Army Puto because during 1960 the army cantonment was established. The view at this place is something to live upon. Those hillocks and plateau view is worth your visit.

This is never to miss out attraction at Ziro. This farm has a specialty as in they grow two types of rice and the water in which the plantation takes place has a particular breed of fish to help in the growth of the rice. Looking at the farm will inspire you to love rice even more (pun intended).

Want to visit a land of pine trees? Well, it is not “Alice in the wonderland” fantasy anymore because you can have a visit to Midey where you can see all those blue pine trees at Apatani Valley. They are tall, beautiful and full of fresh air to visit. Once you are in the mid of Midey you will not want to move away from it anymore.

To sum up, there are also many other spots you can count in while you are on the adventurous trail. Like Dolo Mando for trekking, Dilopolyang Mallipolyang for grasslands, Bamboo Grove for those exquisite bamboo tree land and Tipi Orchid Research Centre. To be honest Arunachal Pradesh will never be enough in one visit and if you have time for only one then take an ample amount of time in your hands for at least 7days. Only then, you will be having all of the Ziro absorbed inside you.

HOW TO REACH ZIRO :

By Air: The nearest airport from Ziro would be Jorhat. Also, Guwahati is the nearest airport.

By Road: Night buses from Guwahati to Ziro are available. The buses are run four days a week.

By Rail: Naharalagun and North Lakhimpur are the nearest railway stations.
