The Kia MPV will be offered in three variants: Premium, Prestige, and Limousine.
Engine: It will be offered with a BS6-compliant 2.2-litre diesel engine that puts out 200PS of power and 440Nm of torque and will come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Features: The Carnival is a well-equipped MPV. It gets a variety of features including three-zone climate control, dual-panel sunroof, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and 10.1-inch touchscreen display for middle-row entertainment. Like the Seltos, the Carnival too comes with Kia’s UVO connected car technology.
Expected Price: Kia Motors is expected to price the Carnival from Rs 27 lakh to Rs 34 lakh (on-road).
Expected Rivals: It doesn’t have any direct rivals as such. Once Kia launches the MPV in India, it will sit above the Toyota Innova Crysta but below the Toyota Vellfire and Mercedes-Benz V-Class
Toyota Innova would be give it hard competition. Apart from the luxury this car is offering, aftersales support and servicing is also important.
